FINAL BLOG

so my last blog today, actually blogging each week was ALOT harder than i expected by i think i did better than some people, i heard someone saying they hadnt done any at all so hopefully i do ok. its seems weird cos the end of blogging means the end of the course! im not really sad to say im nearly done though, this course was alright and i relly enjoyed meeting new people from all differnt walks and stages of life but i wont miss statistics and data which i was horrible at...we actually have a portfoilio due but i dont know how to do ANYTHING for it, and now ive got information technology stuff due tomorrow which im halfway through! everythings coming to a nice end though, ive just got portfolio,essay,blog,e-learning and human bio test and im DONE i can finsh up the year! im proud of how ive done and im happy with my marks, i got all A+ and nothing under 90% so if that doesnt get someone into nursing i dont know what does!!
anyway end of it, final, finsh. it was nice to write thoughts and results down for anyone in the world to see, so thanks BLOOGER.COM!!!

COLD DAYS

all of a sudden it is feezing in whangarei! the cold weather and my lack of warm clothes makes getting out of bed and getting ready for course a real chore, i have to force myself to come to tech these days but luckily ive only missed one day this whooole semister! yesterday was my group presentation and i think my group did really well, the automatic clicker didnt work though so i had to stand   off to the side and use a mouse which kinda put me off my powerpoint presenting skills! but we did alright, everyone actually did well (all the other groups) its a relief that its behind me though and i can move onto something new, only 4 weeks left and i can begin nursing!!! FINGERS CROSSED

A+ KEEPING IT UP

wow so stoked when i got another A+ on my human biology test, this unit was on cells in the body and was diffucult to learn and remember but luckily all my hard work paid off and i ws really pleased with y ressult. i only got one and a half marks incorrect which is the best score ive gotton yet!!
right now im working on my presentaion with my group of 3 other ladies, working in a group proves to be hard because other people rely on you to have your work done, this serves as an incentive but also can be a bit irratating when it comes to getting together and sorting what were going to do. my groups actually one of the most organised and they all work really hard but i like to be left to my own devices usually and make my own decisions, sharing not only the work load but also the decison making process can be a bit hard because it can make the whole presentation drag out.
all in all our presentations coming along quite nicely and everyones working well together, now lets just present it and get another A+ !!

WHOOOOPS

hating waking up and getting ready for school lately! theres alot of grumbling in my class about how things are run lately, in our course we have 4tutors for 4 difernt topics and lately each tutor is giving us a differnt date or time to hand in assignments! making it kinda confusing and stressful cos we dont know for sure when anythings supposed to be due or even sometimes what we are required to do for each assignment cos we get told so many diferent ideas! poor tutors and poor students!

BIG WEEK

oh boy so happy i got a 30/30 on my project assignment! 100% so happy me and my team seem to be working at a good pace, got a mock human bio test tomorrow and am getting my results for two assignments in information technology hopefully do well!! got a big group project due in 3 weeks to on alcohol consumption in new zealand so all today im going spend time working on that with my girls:)

STUDY STUDY STUDY

holidays on and its great to feel like i dont have to think constantly about school and studying all the time!! i was pleased that i got another A on my chemistry test though so it feels like my hard work has paid off and handing in my assignments and feeling on top of my work feels great. i know that this holidays i should really be concentrating on the next part of my INTENSE  human biology test but its hard to turn off the tv and tell my friends that i dont wanna go out!! but if i want to keep up my grades im going to have study really hard and not get distracted!

TEDIOUS WORK

was all worried about my big chemisrty test and then luckily got a solid A! pretty happy cos i wanna keep a A average at least this semister to get into nursing in july so ill just keep up the tedious TEDIOUS study untill i get my spot in nursing school :)

BIG TEST

ugg stressing out about my big test tomorrow in human biology. chemistry has proven to be waaay more difficult than our last test and its so much more intense to learn, the atom, protons,neutrons,electrons,molecules,DNA,RNA,MRNA, the protien synthesis and chemical reactions then bonding between molecules ITS ALL TOO MUCH!! hopefully the study i put in benifits me cos i really want at least 85% in my test, thats the way though if you dont study and put in the work you cant expect good results? im finding that the study isnt the diffucult part or even the learning of the work its finding time to study and put in the time in between church and work and family commitments, by the time im all done with work and jobs at home the last thing i want is to read over my notes!!
but owell youll hear how the test goes, wish me luck!!

CONFUSED

ugg doing the new zealand standard literacy and numeracy test today, the litercay i flew by in and got like a 6 on the scale (which i think is the highest and 1 been the lowest) i found it easy and finshed quickly but the numeracy was so diffucult! im pretty sure ive got like dyslexia but for maths!! all the numbers dont make sense and i never know any formulas! gaaah i think its true youve either got a numeracy brain or a literacy brain and those whove got both are extremly LUCKY!

STRESSING

crazy that we only have one subject class a week, like thursdays are human bio day, so it feels like we only have a couple of classes and then a huuuge test! its all on us to study and practice in those days between our assignments but i think its good like that cos were given the information and then left to learn it in the best way for us...but im not really used to doing it that way coming straight from high school!! tomorrow is our practice test for human biology so fingers crossed!
anyway back into it, information technology today!!

A+

so happy today when i got my results for human biology! was talking with a fellow classmate yesterday about how i was holding out for a b+ and if i got anything less i was going to freak out, then to my surprise i got a A+ so proud of myself and my first test now on to the next assesment all about DNA and atoms and molecules phew on to the next one!!

HARD WORK

so ive sorted my blog, went through a hundred templates and finally chose one! i read some other peoples blogs  and they were lovely, its nice to think that people from all over the world are connecting through this thing and factors like race,religon,sex and age dont stop people from relating to one another on differnt topics, and isnt that the point of a blog? to connect with people who think like you? im going to try and make my blog relatable to people who are studing like me! not just cos its what im supposed to do for class but because studying to become a nurse is really important to me and i know ive got a lot of hard work and tears and frustration to get to where i wanna go but at least i can get it all out on blog now:) ohhhyeeeh

NO IDEA

came in to class today ready to have a chilled out day when my tutor advice me and the class we will be creating our own blogs today and will be graded on them at the end of the term, umm...what do you even write in a blog? who reads blogs? how do i see other peoples blogs? guess ill find out soon enough!
